How many images will I receive ?
The number of photos we take varies widely based on a variety of factors, including:
  • length of wedding and type of service
  • if photography is permitted during the ceremony
  • time alloted for formals
While we don't quote a specific number of images in our packages, the average for a 8 hour booking is usually around 200-250 final photos. Final photos, or proofs, are the best photos out of the many, many more that we will take. Particularly with digital, we take far more photos than make the final cut. Part of our service includes the selection of the best photos, presenting you with a final product that has been carefully crafted to fully and artfully represent your wedding day.
What style of photos do you take ?
We capture a mixture of traditional, posed shots and more contemporary, photojournalistic photos. We find most clients want a blend of both styles to fully represent their wedding day. It really comes down to what you want from your wedding photos - each couple is unique.

When we meet with couples in person, we discuss the various styles in use, and how each one can contribute to the overall presentation of photos.
Do you shoot digital or film ? What kind of Cameras ?
We shoot all of our events with Nikon professional digital SLR cameras. In fact, we shoot with several of the best cameras in the world from any manufacturer for wedding photography - the Nikon D3 and D700. The Nikon cameras excel at low-light photography, allowing us to capture natural images without the need for a flash in many circumstances.
Do you have backup equipment ?
Yes. This is an important question to ask any photographer you are considering for your wedding. Professional photographers always carry a full compliment of backup equipment.
Can I print my photos at home, a store or online ?
Yes, you can print your photos at home or at a store. While the photos on your Proof DVD are copyright protected, we license ( allow ) you to print photos for family and friends. The license is included on the DVD, and we provide a printed copy as well with your DVD.
We also provide professional printing right from your web gallery.
When is payment due ? How much of a deposit is needed ?
We ask for a 15% deposit at time of booking to hold your date. The remainder of the balance is due on the day of the wedding, or anytime before if you prefer.

We can also work out a installment payment agreement for the deposit if needed - just ask !
What forms of payment are accepted ?
We accept personal checks as well as Visa and Mastercard.
Do you have insurance ?
Yes, we carry the following insurance:
  • Liability insurance - $2,000,000
  • Errors and Omissions
  • Equipment Coverage
